The Silent Auction of 2 signed Katharine Hepburn items will be on the circulation desk near the cashier station. Lot 1 is a copy of “The Private World of Katharine Hepburn.” Lot 2 is a typewritten note to a fan on Miss Hepburn’s personal stationery, plus a copy of Sotheby’s 2004 Auction Catalog, “Property from the Estate of Katharine Hepburn.” The minimum bid on each item is $100. The silent auction will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2012.
