The Friends of the Essex Library purchases passes to a number of museums in the area. The discounts off the original entry fees vary according to the individual museum's policy. Passes may be borrowed for three days and there is a $1 overdue fine for each day that the pass is late up to 10 days for a total of $10. Due to the popularity of these passes, they may not be reserved. They may be borrowed on a first-come, first-served basis and are limited to one per family.
