Autumn Story Hours

Stories and Music for Ones and Twos will be held on Fridays 10-10:45 a.m. beginning on October 15th in the Program Room at the Essex Library. Jen Pernal leads this group of babies/toddlers along with their parents or caregivers in stories, songs and activities. There is no registration necessary for this popular program, and it is open to everyone.

Preschool Story Hours for Children aged 3-5 will be held on Mondays or Tuesdays from 1-2 p.m., or Thursdays from 10-11 a.m. There will no longer be a Wednesday morning story hour. In-Person Registration for the Autumn Session begins on Monday, September 27th at 10 a.m. No early registrations will be taken. Phone-In Registration will be taken any time after 11 a.m. that day. The Autumn Session will run from the week of October 4th through the week ending December 17th. These programs fill up very quickly, however with three preschool story hour groups the Library hopes they can provide space for every child who wishes to participate.

**NEW** Wednesday Preschool Drop-In Playgroup.
Due to the fact that we are cutting one of our preschool story hours this year, we are adding a Preschool Drop-In Playgroup. This is a perfect time for parents and/or caregivers to bring their children to the Library and meet new friends while engaging in quiet learning activities.
